BRIDGE TO WELLNESS HEALTH FAIR 2018
The Bridge to Wellness Health Fair is all about being Healthy For Life! We invite you to attend the Health Fair and discover ways to keep you healthy on a daily basis, at work and at home, and long into retirement. The health fair is for all employees and retirees and will be held on Wednesday, November 14th, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) in the Edmund Fitzgerald Hall from 8:00am – 3:00pm. Parking and admission are FREE.
This year when you attend the health fair, you will automatically be entered into a drawing to win $75 Visa gift cards; Beaver Sky Tours (airplane tour), Golf passes, massage gift certificates and much more! You just need to stop by our registration table to be entered for these fabulous prizes.

The City of Duluth is pleased and excited to welcome back the College of St. Scholastica Exercise Physiology Department to provide Fitness Assessments for all employees and retirees during the Health Fair.
The assessments will be offered in 30-minute time slots from 8am-12pm in Gooseberry Room 1.
What are Fitness Assessments? A Fitness Assessment will measure and test the following:
The results of these “tests” will give you a baseline to work with in order to improve your overall health. If you are looking to increase your flexibility for example, the students will measure how far you are able to reach, then provide suggestions on how to increase your range of movement. All of the information you receive is strictly confidential and for your own purposes, however you can share it with a personal trainer, medical doctor, or your Wellness Coordinator to develop a plan to increase your strength, cardio endurance, and flexibility, while decreasing body fat and blood pressure.
