RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $49,000 ADDITIONAL 2000 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS AND REPROGRAMMING AND TRANSFERRING $39,000 WITHIN THE 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 AND 2000 HUD CDBG PROGRAM
BY PRESIDENT GILBERT:

WHEREAS, the city of Duluth established certain 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 CDBG accounts; and

WHEREAS, the citywide citizens advisory committee (CCAC) for the CDBG program passed a resolution recommending funding changes as set forth below.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to allocate $49,000 in additional 2000 CDBG funds for FY 2000 projects as follows:

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to recommend the allocation of additional CDBG funds for FY2000 in the amount of $49,000. The resolution also reprograms "old" CDBG funds to cover project cost overruns and fund projects that were partially funded. The staff memo to the CCAC specifies details about the projects.

The CCAC unanimously supported the following funding recommendations at their February 29 meeting.
