RESOLUTION REPROGRAMMING $16,575 FROM PROGRAM INCOME INTO THE 1999 HUD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM.

BY PRESIDENT GILBERT:

WHEREAS, the city of Duluth established a certain 1999 CDBG account; and

WHEREAS, the citywide citizens advisory committee (CCAC) for the CDBG program passed a resolution recommending the funding change as set forth below.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to reprogram $16,575 from program income to the 1999 citywide street assessment program (Fund 262, Project #6126) for a total amount of $201,575.



STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The city received $75,000 in program income from the repayment of a grant made to the Lighthouse for the Blind. The purpose of this resolution is to recommend the reprogramming of $16,575 of the program income to the 1999 citywide street assessment program. The staff memo to the CCAC specifies details about the project.

The CCAC unanimously supported the above-described funding recommendations at its March 28, 2000, meeting.
