RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO GOODIN COMPANY FOR FURNACE REPLACEMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,840.63.

BY COUNCILOR EDWARDS:

RESOLVED, that Goodin Company be and hereby is awarded a contract for furnishing and delivering furnace replacement for the Lake Superior Zoo in accordance with specifications on its low specification bid of $10,840.63, terms 30, FOB destination, payable out of Capital Improvements Fund 450, Dept./Agency 015, Organization 1998, Object C707.


STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the purchase of a furnace replacement from Goodin Company for $10,840.63 to be paid from Capital Improvements Fund 450. The furnace replacement will be installed by city personnel at the Lake Superior Zoo Polar Exhibit. Goodin Company was the only vendor who responded. Request for bid was mailed to four vendors. The uncommitted funds in Object C707 is $17,581. Bid No. 00-0702
