RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
TRANSFER OF THE OFF SALE NONINTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FROM TOM POTTER,
INC. (MILK HOUSE), 906 EAST CENTRAL ENTRANCE, TRANSFERRED TO D & C
LETOURNEAU, ENT. (D & C SIXTH AVENUE MILK HOUSE), SAME ADDRESS.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the
city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves the transfer of the
off sale nonintoxicating malt liquor license for the period beginning December
1, 2000, and ending April 30, 2001, subject to departmental approvals and
the payment of sales and property taxes:

Ent. (D & C Sixth Avenue Milk House), 906 East Central Entrance, from
Tom Potter, Inc. (Milk House), same address.

Catherine Letourneau was present on behalf of the application. Ms.
Letourneau explained that they are buying the convenience store and would
like to transfer the off sale beer license to their name. To questioning
from the board, Ms. Letourneau replied that they have other conveniences
stores in Duluth that sell beer and are aware of the rules and regulations
of selling beer. She further stated that there will be no major changes
in this operation. Officer Christensen stated that he has no problem
with this application. There being no further discussion, Mr. Levey
moved THAT THE APPLICATION OF D & C LETOURNEAU, ENT. (D & C SIXTH
AVENUE MILK HOUSE), 906 EAST CENTRAL ENTRANCE, FOR TRANSFER OF THE OFF
SALE NONINTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING DECEMBER
1, 2000, AND ENDING APRIL 30, 2001, TRANSFERRED FROM TOM POTTER, INC. (MILK
HOUSE), SAME ADDRESS, BE APPROVED, AND THE SAME BE RECOMMENDED TO THE CITY
COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL. Mr. Hendrickson seconded the motion, and it
was unanimously approved.
