RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO ENTER INTO A REVISED LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION, REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT DIVISION FOR 1,872 USABLE SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE AT THE MINNESOTA WORKFORCE CENTER - DULUTH FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1999, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2003.
RESOLVED, that proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into
a revised lease agreement with the state of Minnesota, department of administration,
real estate management division for 1,872 usable square feet of office
space on the second floor of the government services center - 320 West
Second Street, in the office suite occupied by the Minnesota workforce
center - Duluth. The monthly lease payment for said office space shall
not exceed $10.03 per square foot in rent and $222.83 per month in construction
costs or a total of $1,787.51 per month. A copy of the lease is available
in the city clerk's office as Public Document No. __________________. Monthly
lease expenses are payable from Fund 268.
The reduction in lease payment is retroactive to July 1, 1999, and the city's account with the state will be properly reconciled to reflect the reduction. Monthly lease expenses are payable from Fund 268.
