RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ST. JAMES HOUSE D/B/A WOODLAND HILLS TO PROVIDE DIVERSION AND CHEMICAL HEALTH PROGRAMS FOR JUVENILE OFFENDERS FOR A COST NOT TO EXCEED $20,400.

BY COUNCILOR STOVER:

        RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to execute an agreement, filed as Public Document No.____________, between the city of Duluth and St. James House d/b/a Woodland Hills for the purposes of providing services of diversion and chemical health programs for juvenile offenders, at a cost to the city of $20,400, to be paid from the Minnesota cities grant program, Police Special Revenue Fund 0268, Agency 031, Organization 6244, Activity SCXX, Object 0033.



STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This agreement is between the city of Duluth and St. James House d/b/a Woodland Hills as part of the Minnesota cities grant program received by the Duluth police department. A portion of this grant was obligated to provide chemical health education services for juvenile offenders and diversion programming for juvenile offenders, and Woodland Hills can successfully provide these services for the city.
