RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY PRODUCTS FOR CLASS 5 GRAVEL, CRUSHED ROCK AND WASHED SAND AS NEEDED DURING YEAR 2004, AT AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $122,475.

BY COUNCILOR STOVER:

RESOLVED, that Construction Supply Products be and hereby is awarded a contract for furnishing and delivering Class 5 gravel, crushed rock and washed sand as needed during year 2004 for the various utility operation and maintenance operation divisions in accordance with specifications at an estimated amount of $122,475, terms net 30, FOB job sites, payable out of various funds, departments/agencies, organizations and objects.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the purchase of Class 5 gravel, crushed rock and washed sand as needed during year 2004 from Construction Supply Products for $122,475 to be paid from various funds. The Class 5 gravel, crushed rock and washed sand is for on-going projects of street maintenance, water and gas and sewer divisions for the year 2004 construction season. Construction Supply Products was the lowest of the five companies who responded. There is sufficient budget appropriation in each of these divisions to award this contract. Bid No. 04-0068
