BY COUNCILOR GILBERT:
The city of Duluth does ordain:
Section 1. That Plate Nos. 7 and 10 of the zoning district map as contained in the Appendix to Chapter 50 of the Duluth City Code, 1959, as amended, is amended to read as follows:
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after its passage and publication.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This zoning ordinance amendment provides a zoning change, from M-1, Manufacturing, to R-1-b, One Family Residential, 20.18 acres of property lying north of Arbor Avenue, east of Grand Avenue and 93rd Avenue West, south of Hulett Avenue, and west of the St. Louis River.
The purpose of the rezoning is to facilitate the development of single and multifamily residential townhomes at 9320 Grand Avenue.
Duluth City Planning Commission unanimously approved this zoning change
following a public hearing held May 26, 2004. The Commissioners based
their recommendation on the following findings:
