RESOLVED, that GovDocs be and hereby is awarded a contract for furnishing online subscription management and document delivery system for the M.I.S. division in accordance with specifications on its low specification bid of $15,500, terms net, FOB destination, payable out of General Fund 0100, Department/Agency 015, Organization 1513, Object 5201.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the continuation of online subscription management and document delivery system from GovDocs for $15,500 to be paid from General Fund 0100. The GovDelivery product provides a web-based document storage ability which makes public city documents more accessible for community residences. This service allows greater communication between City Hall and community members and strives for an electronic (i.e., paperless) means to distribute information. Documents are searchable and categorized by topic for easy retrieval. GovDelivery also provides the ability for community residents to register for notification of new or updated document postings. Registered users will receive an e-mail notification or a copy of the new document when documents are added or updated. Requisition No. 04-0531
