Alcohol, gambling and tobacco commission discussion of 11/3/2004: Wayne Gunderson, gambling manager, was present on behalf of the application. Mr. Gunderson explained that his organization is applying to go into the Pioneer bar which currently has no organization operating in the bar. He continued by saying that they have been operating for six years at another location in Duluth and haven’t had any problems. To questioning from the board, Office Latour replied that he has approved this application. There being no further discussion, Mr. Arne Johnson moved that THE PREMISE PERMIT APPLICATION OF DULUTH AMATEUR YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION BE APPROVED, AND THE SAME BE RECOMMENDED TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL. Mr. Terry Johnson seconded the motion, and it was unanimously approved.
