RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY TO RECLASSIFY FROM CONSERVATION TO NONCONSERVATION AND TO OFFER FOR SALE TAX FORFEITED PARCELS NOW WITHHELD FROM SALE IN CONSERVATION.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution approves the reclassification of 8.8 acres of tax forfeited land from conservation to nonconservation status. The applicant has requested the purchase of tax forfeited land through direct sale (conducted by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority) to construct a 12-bed hospice house. The reclassification of these parcels was reviewed and recommended for approval by the city planning commission at their regular meeting on August 9, 2005.
