BY COUNCILOR GILBERT: BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute and implement an agreement, containing substantially the terms of that contract on file with the city clerk as Public Document No. __________, between the city of Duluth and University of Minnesota for identification of ecologically significant areas as part of comprehensive planning, in an amount not to exceed $5,550; payment from Fund 100-020-1202-5319. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The city has a natural areas inventory but the ecological information has not been integrated and related to a map. The comprehensive planning committee wants this done as part of the planning process. |
