BY COUNCILOR STEWART:
RESOLVED, that Custom Fire Apparatus be and hereby is awarded a contract for furnishing and delivering a triple combination pumper fire truck for the fire department in accordance with specifications on its low specification of $292,028.75, terms net 30, FOB destination, payable out of Capital Equipment Fund 0250, Department/Agency 015, Organization 2005, Object 5580.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the purchase of a replacement pumper for the 1989 pumper stationed at Fire Station 7, 1419 Maple Grove Road, from Custom Fire Apparatus in the amount of $292,028.75, payable out of Capital Equipment Fund 0250, Department/Agency 015, Organization 2005, Object 5580. The unit being replaced will be retained for continuing use by the fire department. A 1978 vintage pumper will be traded in at the conclusion of this purchase. Custom Fire Apparatus was the only bidder that met the specifications.
