BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby issues the following on sale intoxicating liquor license and on sale Sunday license for the period and ending August 31, 2006, subject to departmental approvals and the payment of sales and property taxes:
Anderson Golf, Inc. (Enger Golf Course), 1801 West Skyline Parkway, with Steven Anderson, president and 50 percent stockholder, Nancy Anderson, secretary/treasurer and 50 percent stockholder, and Aaron Anderson, vice president.
Alcohol, gambling and tobacco commission discussion of 4/5/2006: Steven Anderson was present on behalf of the application. Mr. Anderson explained that they have had a 3.2 percent malt liquor license and now are applying for a intoxicating liquor license. To the commission’s inquiry, Mr. Anderson replied that he has 15 years experience as a golf pro and general manager for two other golf courses that have sold alcohol. To further questioning, Mr. Anderson replied that they are redoing the area in the club house to separate the restaurant from the bar, and that they will be checking ID’s. The clerk reviewed that the City Charter has been changed to allow intoxicating liquor at Enger Golf course. There being no further discussion, Mr. Karki moved that THE APPLICATION OF ANDERSON GOLF, INC. (ENGER GOLF COURSE), 1801 WEST SKYLINE PARKWAY, FOR AN ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE AND ON SALE SUNDAY LICENSE FOR THE PERIOD ENDING AUGUST 31, 2006, WITH STEVEN ANDERSON, PRESIDENT AND 50 PERCENT STOCKHOLDER, NANCY ANDERSON, SEC/TREASURER AND 50 PERCENT STOCKHOLDER, AND AARON ANDERSON, VICE PRESIDENT, BE APPROVED AND THE SAME BE RECOMMENDED TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL.
