BY COUNCILOR KRAUSE:
RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby issues on sale 3.2 percent malt liquor license renewals for the period beginning May 1, 2007, and ending April 30, 2008, subject to departmental approvals and the payment of sales and property taxes, as provided for in the Duluth City Code, to the applicants listed on Public Document No. _________________.
Alcohol, gambling and tobacco commission discussion of 4/4/2007: The clerk reviewed that these are all renewal license applications and all have been approved by the police, fire and health departments. The clerk stated that the Tappa Keg Inn is the only licensee with delinquent sales and property taxes, and that they would both have to be paid in full by April 30 in order him to continue selling alcohol on May 1. There being no further discussion, Mr. Karki moved that THE RENEWAL APPLICATIONS FOR ON SALE 3.2% MALT LIQUOR LICENSES, BE APPROVED AND THE SAME BE RECOMMENDED TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL. Mr. Hanson seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved.
