ENGINEERING

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:   This resolution is to authorize a work order contract between the city and Mn/DOT to cooperatively provide geotechnical services related to construction of roadways in the city of Duluth.

This agreement authorizes work to be performed under the “master contract” that was approved by the council on December 17, 2007. This is the first work order to be submitted for council approval.

The city and Mn/DOT have had similar agreements for many years and this resolution would authorize extending this relationship through 2012. Payment to Mn/DOT is per the published schedule for geotechnical services.
