ISSUED TO: Persons, who are at least 18 years old, who wish to commercially sell fireworks.
PROCEDURE: Apply at Main Fire Hall (see address above). Permits shall be valid from May 1 to April 30 of each year for which the permit is issued. Permits are nontransferable. Permits shall be issued only for locations approved by the fire chief on private property zoned in the C or M categories under Chapter 50. Permits shall not be issued for locations in public right-of-ways, parks or other public grounds. If the permit applicant is not the owner or lessee of the location where sales are to be made, the applicant shall submit written permission from the property owner to use the location at the time the permit is applied for. The Fire Marshal retains the right to regulate the activity consistent with the rules and regulations of the State Fire Marshal.
