Resident Parking Permit

INITIAL CONTACT: City Clerk's Office, 330 City Hall, 411 W. 1st St., Duluth MN 55802.

FORM: Permit Parking Application NOTE: Permits are in effect from September 1 to June 15 only.

FEE: See Fee Schedule. All permits are valid only within 500 feet of the property of the address of the resident.

Resident Permits - 1 per vehicle; maximum of 3 per dwelling unit.

Regular Visitor Permits - limit 1 per resident permit; maximum of 2 per dwelling unit.

Special Visitor Permits - valid only within one week from the time that it is issued by the city clerk and for not more than a period of 24 hours during such week.

ISSUED TO: Residents who park vehicles on the street in the UMD, Denfeld Senior High School and East Senior High School permit zones from September 1 to June 15.

PROCEDURE: Applications are available in the City Clerk's Office, or download it here. Permits must be renewed yearly. Residents are sent renewal applications in August of each year.
