On behalf of the members of the Duluth Minnesota Fire Department, I welcome you to our website. The Duluth Fire Department is proud to serve the people of Duluth Minnesota with a modern, progressive, well trained department of 132 uniformed fire fighters and support staff. The Building Safety Division has joined the fire department to provide life safety through progressive building and housing code enforcement. I take great pride in services our dedicated fire fighters and Building Safety employees provide to make our beautiful city such a wonderful place to work and live.
Over the last century, Duluth fire has expanded its services to meet the ever changing needs of the community. With new challenges such as terrorism and hazardous materials, the department changes again to provide the protection our citizens have come to expect and deserve. Our dedication is to the citizens of our community. We value our community partnerships that are vital to maintaining a safe and prospering community.
