Equal Opportunity Representative
Acting
as the City of Duluth's Equal Opportunity Representative, the office of
Human Rights will:
- Accept
and investigate complaints of discrimination/harassment in the City
of Duluth work place.
- Implement
Affirmative Action policies for the City of Duluth to increase the diversity
of the city's work force.
- Insure
compliance with requirements of ADA for improving employment opportunities
for persons with disabilities within the city work force.
- Serve
as designated Equal Opportunity Officer for Workforce Investment Act
providers in the City of Duluth.
- Work with
the Purchasing Department of the City of Duluth to ensure compliance
with Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Non-Discrimination requirements
for federal and state contracts.
