Wrecking Permit

INITIAL CONTACT:  Building Safety Division, 210 City Hall, 411 W. 1st St., Duluth  MN  55802.

FORM:  Building Permit Application.

I. Those wrecking, razing or demolishing any building within the city.

II. The owner of the property, or a contractor who has met the gonding and insurance requirements set by the City of Duluth.

PROCEDURE:  Applicants are required to obtain a performance bond in the sum of $10,000 for one building or $20,000 for a calendar year. Also required before the permit is granted, is a general comprehensive liability insurance policy in the sum of $500,000. It is also the responsibility of the permittee to contact the Water and Gas Division and the Engineering Division in City Hall so that the utilities and sewer disconnections may be made.
