All Clean and Green 2013 events scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed. This includes the Lakewalk and Park Point community cleanups.
While most of the scheduled spring cleanups have been postponed, replaced rather with snow cleanup events, the annual city wide Clean and Green event will happen. We just need to wait until... well, until it’s green. Clean and Green 2013 events - both cleanups and "green"up - are still being scheduled for the spring, whenever it decides to arrive in Duluth. Community groups, families, school groups, youth organizations and others are still encouraged to register for a Clean and Green 2013 project. For more information call Cheryl Skafte, Volunteer Coordinator, for the City of Duluth at 218-730-4334 or email Jesse Meehl at jmeehl@DuluthMN.gov.
