Restoring our canopy one tree at a time

The City of Duluth has launched a new campaign to help restore the canopy of our urban forest. Each year, the City will dedicate $5000 towards the cost associated with purchase and planting of trees. Homeowners desiring a tree must agree to the care of that tree for the first three years of its life, and pay half its cost, $25.

*Final decision about tree location or species selection will occur after an evaluation of your planting site and approval by the City Forester.
