Please find attached a copy of the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the proposed Eastern High School, submitted by ISD 709. An EAW is designed to provide a brief analysis and overview of the potential environmental impacts for a specific project and to help the "Responsible Government Unit" (RGU) determine whether an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is necessary.
The City of Duluth Planning Commission, as the Responsible Government Unit, will receive public comments on the Eastern High School EAW at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, during its regularly scheduled meeting, held in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor of City Hall. Written comments will be accepted during the 30-day public comment period, which begins on Monday, April 20, 2009 and closes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
