Online public input needed to prioritize parks and trail needs.
Parks and Recreation is asking citizens to share their opinions about city park and trail priorities on the City of Duluth Parks website. The City of Duluth completed a comprehensive Parks Master plan in December 2010 and is completing a Trails and Bikeways Master Plan later this year. The people of Duluth, as part of the Parks Master Plan process, stated the need for additional resources on the city's parks and trail/bikeways systems. The City would like to know what you love about the city's parks and trail/bikeways system and how do we build a parks and trails/bikewaus system that we can afford. In addition the City would like to find out from the public what you would like to see invested in and completed if there were extra resources/funding available.
To access the Parks and Recreation online survey form go to www.duluthmn.gov/parks click on "citizen input form". Citizens will be able to submit their opinions until July 23.
