Duluth Police “Property Crimes Wanted Person of the Week” – ARRESTED

33 years of age
Johnson has four warrants for his arrest. Two are felony warrants for possession of a controlled substance (69DU-CR-10-2600) and for possession of a short-barreled shotgun (69DU-CR-10-3533). The other two are misdemeanor warrants for fleeing police, tampering with a motor vehicle, driving after cancellation, and other traffic violations.
UPDATE: On Thursday, November 15th, 2012 Duluth Police put out a press release seeking the public’s help in locating Luther Johnson.
On Sunday, November 25th, 2012 at 12:00 PM the Saint Louis County Sheriff’s Office received information that Luther Johnson was at a residence in the 4300 block of Three Lakes Road. Deputies located Johnson there and after a short foot pursuit he was taken into custody. He was arrested and transported to the Saint Louis County Jail and booked on the warrants and also pending formal charges of Fleeing a Peace Officer on Foot and 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.
During the arrest Luther Johnson’s father, Glenn Harold Johnson DOB: 08/27/1952 was arrested for Aiding an Offender. He was also transported to the Saint Louis County Jail and booked pending formal charges.
