Joshua Avenue Extenstion

Project Description:

The City of Duluth, following the direction established by the Metropolitan Interstate Council (“the MIC”) in its Duluth Heights Traffic Circulation Study (August 2006), is conducting a study to identify a preferred alignment for a new roadway connection between the Miller Hill commercial district and the east side of Duluth.  The study will also identify the character of the proposed connection and access management strategies that would appropriately steer traffic to the selected alignment and away from other neighborhood streets.

A Duluth Heights Connector Task Force has been established for this purpose and meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church (151 W. Linden).  The Task Force meetings are open to the public for questions and comments at about 7:30 p.m.

If you have any questions about the Duluth Heights Connector Task Force or the Duluth Heights Connector planning process, please contact Matt Decur, Project Engineer, at (218) 730-5104 or by e-mail at mdecur@duluthmn.gov.
