Sanitary sewer equipment includes:

- 1 television truck
- 2 mechanical rod trucks
- Excavator
- Tandem dump truck
- other construction vehicles
Utility Accomplishments
Each year the Sanitary Sewer Utility:
- Cleans 85 miles of line
- Televises 40 miles of sewer
- Responds to 250 emergency customer calls
- Repairs 100 defects in pipes and manholes
- Finances $350,000 of pipe replacement as part of the SIP program
- Flow monitors sewers throughout the city
- Provides in I/I grants to disconnect footing drains
With improved monitoring along with the televising program the Sewer Utility has been able to develop and carry out an effective preventive maintenance program. The result has been a decrease in the number of customer complaint calls and claims along with significant reduction in failures within the city’s infrastructure.
