Duluth Citizen Review Board to Host Public Open Houses

[DULUTH, MN] – In response to requests by the Duluth City Council, the Duluth Citizen Review Board (CRB) is hosting a series of three public open houses to gather public input that will be used to create a draft policy surrounding personal protective equipment. Members of the Citizen Review Board will make opening remarks, and subject matter experts from the Duluth Police Department, City Council members, and City of Duluth staff will be in attendance.

The format of each of the three meetings will include a brief greeting by members of the CRB, followed by an open house format. During the open house portion, participants will be given the opportunity to read a sample policy about personal protective equipment. Several copies of the sample policy will be available as well as displayed on easels. Meeting participants will be able to submit written comments and mark-up the sample policies. Input will be gathered after each meeting and reviewed by the Citizen Review Board.

A special committee meeting of the Citizen Review Board will be scheduled to review and report on the results of these three open houses.
