Music in the Park 2026
We are excited to announce our Duluth Parks & Recreation’s Music in the Park series is back! This year, with the construction projects taking place at Chester Park and improvements to Chester Bowl’s Chalet, all concerts will take place at Lincoln Park.
In 2027, the concert series will return to a split series at Chester Park and Lincoln Park.
Concert Information
This nine-week Tuesday night series will be held from June 16 - Aug. 11, with one rain date built in at the end (Aug. 18). Sound and tech needs are provided. All concerts are from 6:30-8 p.m. Compensation is listed in the application.

If you and your band is interested in applying to be a part of our summer Music in the Park series, please fill out the online application. Only applications submitted through this portal will be considered. The submission portal will close on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Our Music in the Park committee will review applications in the weeks after the submission period closes and will reach out to bands to confirm selections.
Location Details
This year, all concerts will take place at the Lincoln Park stage, 2501 W. 3rd St. from 6:30-8 p.m.
Performances and Compensation
Artists may be offered 90-minute performances, or a half performance time, 40 minutes. Priority for the 90-minute slots will be given to bands with three or more members, while one and two person bands will be considered for the 40 minute sets.
Base pay for the Music in the Park Series 90-minute sets is $250, plus $50 per musician, up to $550. The 40-minute sets are half the rate. Professional sound is contracted and provided for all concerts, provided by the City of Duluth.
